Late Afternoon walk Photo

Photographer’s Note

Late afternoon / early evening in Cannon beach. If it’s a nice day there are always people walking around and enjoying the view (rarely swimming, as the water are too cold).
It was such a nice view, but the pictures turned out disappointing (fade colors), this is an attempt to save one of them by turning it to B&W. The overexposure on the right is caused by the sun.

It could be more contrasty, but the ambainace would suffer.

Beautiful composition...timeless in a way. Yes, I remember Cannon beach.
Here the silvery curve is beautifully captured along the diagonal and the people crossing it provides a nice point of attention. Good tonality.

Hello Efi,

I like this picture for many reasons, I thi,nk that BW suits it well, and I appreciate the immensity of the place with some speckles of people and life that can make us feel how big is this place. Perhaps I would have liked better the group in the front a few steps at the right so that they would not be on the same vertical with the one behind.

J'aime cette sensation d'espace et d'air qui circule c'est presque le grand large.
Les personnages donnent l'échelle et de l'animation. L'eau en demi-cercle du courant donnent un beau graphisme. Le B&W renvoie à l'âge d'or des grands photographes.
