You have chosen the right angle, the boats and the hill in a row and the ropes and the far shore as diagonals. The shore also has a nice curve. I think you should crop of the small boats at the right, they distract without adding anything. Just hold up your hand and see!

Of course, the boat is the star here, but the beautiful light in the background and the sky have also a good part in the attraction of this shot. Beach curve and straight ropes on the beach work well too. About boats on the right... I would leave them as they add action to the scene.

A wise decision not to crop tighter, Serge. Although it colul be a nice shot with the boat only, the surroundings adds a lot. The hill, the sand, the smaller boats, the sky are all wonderful. a very ice composition using a nice angle with great colors. Very well done.

I also think that you might consider cropping a bit on the right (because you don't really need the other boats in the picture) but otherwise it is a great shot. Great angle, good composition, great colors.

the boat is of course central to the composition, looks almost artifical. the pic itself is also interesting with the low water edge you find in Brittany. Good contrast between the boat and the soft colours in the rest of the pic.

As you understand I like this photo!. Great contrast between the vivid colors and the gray tones around. Your point of view is excelent.

I would only crop a bit of the bottom and right.
