The 3rd day of the
Istanbul - Teheran train trip, in the wagon-restaurant of the Iranian train...

These Iranian ladies were very joyful and excited, coming back in Teheran from a wedding in Vienna!

I like the way the men in the background look totally overwhelmed by the course of events.. very much "iranian" atmosphere here indeed! ;)

PS: 2nd day of the same trip, in the very different atmosphere of the Turkish train, to be seen in my previous photo

O shot é bastante interessante, aqui e além
a imagem está um pouco queimada, e teria sido resolvida com flash indirecto !
Mas é um bom registo !

Stunning eyes. But maybe you pushed the ISO too high wich caused 1) over exposure (from the windows on the left especially) 2) bad quality of the picture : artifacts very visible on the woman in the fore ground (I see some pink and green on her face)

Brave man to take a photograph of Iranian women and then broadcast it to the world. I hope you asked their permission. I agree with the quality of this image; the light from the window is a little too bright. However, the subject matter is interesting, having read this and your previous comment. Looking forward to more images from that part of the world.

about the otherside of the photo...

what they feel in their life...?
what they want to say in their eyes...?

very interesting! i like all expressions. the two men in the back don't look happy with you taking picture of their women! however women look pretty cheery and somehow curious.
well done!

The picture might not be technically perfect (a little too much light coming from the windows...) but it conveys the atmosphere very well, and goes against the stereotypical "dramatic veiled woman walking in a distance" pictures of iranian women. Well done!

I really like this photo since the Iranian women dominate the picture! The women look really happy and that they enjoyed their trip to Austria. My only criticism would be that the focus is not very sharp. Love the picture otherwise!
