Photographer’s Note

Nature is wild and often amazing in Laos. Like in this case: Ta Kuang Si, Louang Prabang province, are the most important and celebrated laotian waterfalls. See also: Japanese collegues. This place is remote and wild, but it is worth a trip.

The quality of the picture is pretty good, although it is a scanned photo.

Mi si Strige il cuore colmo di malinconia vedendo certe foto. Se provassimo a mettere delle foto più neutre non sarebbe meglio?

AHHHH...che posto splendido!!!
e che ottima foto Paolo!
una composizione perfetta con la ragazza che sembra quasi "sotto" la cascata, quei colori splendidi e quella luce che filtra dall'alto!
una meraviglia.
se permetti l'unico appunto possibile, ma ininfluente, è la 2° ragazza con la gonna nera che cammina sul lato sinistro...che non c'entra niente con il resto dell'immagine.
ma come ben sappiamo...non si possono eliminare fisicamente gli "intrusi" nelle foto!

Good composition and exposure despite difficult light conditions. I like the inclusion if the girl looking at the falls to give us an idea of scale. I think you were right to clone out the other person in the WS as she does not add anything to the shot.

splendid picture, the composition is almost perfect - this woman standing in front of water works great but I also dislike this girl going out of frame.
