Photographer’s Note
Crete is another treasure of an island in Europe. Who would expect it to be a very touristy place with only hotels hits the ball wrong. Driving around on this gorgeous island is a discovery of a calm and friendly island with superb nature and lovely idyllic places.
This is a typical colorful house in the streets of Ghania toward the north west of the island.
I like the contrast of looking to the world through an open window but blocked off by shutters and then the inviting open sky.

Sabine, I see that you are "aiming high" too. What do I see looking up?
well, I see a wet bath towel drying. I see some shutters open, but some closed. I see street lights, and also a little blue light bulb hanging from cable in the air. There used to be 2 more light bulbs too right next to it, but now they are broken. Maybe they fell down on somebody's head at some point :( ouch
I see a lot more Sabine, don't you? But it would kind of be like describing what I see in life. but who can describe that, really? not me. I just like to describe some little details though. That's what I love about it.
thanks for SHARING.

Point de vue original, qui donne une photo sympa avec ce ciel moutonneux, l'architecture des maisons est bien mise en valeur.
Bravo
