Photographer’s Note
This picture showing shadows across the cliff face can only be taken three weeks either side of the longest day, I waited nearly an hour for the sun to shine through a hole in the clouds.

What a sudden drop in the landscape. Its whiteness is so highlighted no matter the entire picture is not bright enough. Fabulous capture Alan. See the workshop I created

Alan -
Nice image but it does need some post processing to brighten and add some contrast. Check out the workshop Rajhema did it hit the nail on the head.
Thanks for sharing

Very dramatic and beautiful! The light on the cliff face is wonderful, and well worth waiting for. I like the telephoto compression in this shot, and the way the house leads your eye to the cliff, and then to the sky. Good work!

Excelente toma Alan. Me gusta mucho el contraste de la escena y los colores indudablemente ayudan mucho. Muy buen trabajo!

Welcome on TE Alan, it's a good first contribution. The picture is a bit too small but we can see a beautifull luminosity, driving sweet colors. The picture is contrasted by fines shadows. Well done

Perfect moment to capture this beautiful place. Shining cliffs are amazing and very impressive. Good job.

Alan, a nice classic shot with an interesting fact about the shadows. Thanks for sharing, Garry

Very nice picture: I like the atmosphere and the light on the cliff. You know that you can use a bigger format, don’t you?

Knowing how patient you had to be, what more can I say than well done, great shot with an interesting fact as well.

Great picture, I agree that some post processing in terms of contrast will do good to it, but may I disagree with the first workshop done by Rajhema, it is too much colour, the picture should keep this grey and clear touch, it makes it melancholic. Look forward to see more from you.
