Photographer’s Note
Description
This image was taken in El Alto, on the endless sunday market known as the '16 de julio'
Peanuts - known as 'Mani' in Bolivia are everywhere, from the market stalls to soups and sweets.
The big sacks behind contain puffed stuff such as noodels, maiz, rice, wheat and other things I could not recognize(!)
The small tabular pieces arranged as a pyramid on the left are delicious peanut sweets
Tech Note

Levels
The high altitude creates very strong contrast so I used the highlight/shadow to soften it.

I like this daily-life scene from a part of the world I have not yet experienced. Quite a pile of merchandise, traditional but everyday clothing, shadows... They don't seem to notice you.
