Photographer’s Note

Hmm I'm begining to feel like a bit of a one trick pony, so this will be the last Auckland Sunrise shot I will post for a long while. I'll have to go out and find something new to shoot. Anyone got any suggestions?

Anyway this is an alternative to my last shots, the big difference is the sky, clouds this time, the last shots had none. I think the clouds add a little something extra.

Well Rob, this is the first of your morning shots I've seen and I like it. Nice and sharp, and looking at the water, you left the shutter open for a few seconds to give that nice effect. I think that clouds do add to the shot with their nice dark forms taking up the top part of the shot.

Hello Robert,

Nice shot, goog crop and POV.
The water looks like liquid metal.
A piity that not mote lights in the windows were on. After hours - office closed, I guess.
Anyway would like to see it one hour later in the darkness. TFS.

I like your colours to they do add a little more to the shot.
I see the sky tower is blue, what was the occasion?
NIce reflection in the water.
Try some pictures of the upper harbour marina. You can get some nice mist off Marina view, west Harbour ( I used to live there.)

Very good composition with the tower to the right, the gray clouds and the bluish sky. I agree with mjdundeem, the water looks like liquid metal.
