Photographer’s Note

This is a shot I took yesterday while on the Circle-Line. This is the World Financial Center during sunset. In between these two buildings, stood the World Trade Towers. It is still shocking to see the two towers missing even though it's been 4 years.

Most beautiful NY photo I have ever seen. At least better than the one I see in postal cards!

Very well done! I'd kill to get a shot like this. I'd like to see the sky a little darker, and more textural.

Nice picture of New York. Good use of sunset reflecting off of the buildings window system. Colors are good and everything is sharp.

Well if your flash was fired you do have the strongest flash in the world.

I like this picture, but even I miss the two towers. They were my favorite buildings and I loved the place around the twins. I didn't come back till September 2001. But I hope to see NYC again very soon. Maybe next year.

Especially for you, that you are living there, New York.
The most shocking of all is that the leaders of this world still didn’t get any message!

Hi Dee,
You seem to get the right moment of the sunset and the resulting light is fantastic. I like the contrast and colours as well as composition. Yacht in foreground is a nice detail giving the picture a scale. Very well done!

Dee thanks for posting this photo. I remember that day very clearly. That was one of the first times I heard about the name Bin Ladin. the sunset really brings a lovely mood to this revived place!

Absolutely beautiful shot of NY Dee. Love the boats, and the buildings are so sharp and clear. You've picked up some nice colors inthe reflections on the buildings.
