I am not an expert in color to B&W, from a dig shot. I like this one, I find the elements are contrasted and the wide DOF allows plenty of detail from the trees. there may be the usual grayness that may come more from the desaturation than the light. hell, i am not sure, so I like it anyway.

Interesting, with the B&W I get a very winter feeling instead of summer. Contrast is good although I almost wish for more detail in the water. Nice leading line on the water heading into the background.

BTW, it's "Bridalveil Fall" not "Bridal Vail Falls"
