Breakfast at King's Diner on the Danforth. It's a unique experience everytime. While still within modern downtown Toronto, the place is a timewarp. Signs and decor from the 70s/80s, clientele with mullets, indoor smoking, and cold beer anytime. I love that place!
This picture was taken in secret, the camera resting on the table, some cropping of the bottom 10% and contrast correction with curves. I was also going to cut out the right side but I decided against it so as to keep more of the diner in...

This is like my neighborhood greasy spoon around the corner from my house (Edgewater district of Chicago)! It has the same atmosphere (time warp), same clientele (there's one guy who is plastered on a stool in front of the TV and watches TV all night), same menu, although we have a lady tending the bar. They serve the best pork shops in town.
I love that you posted this in black and white. It adds to the time warp atmosphere.

Good daily life picture. I like the busy composition, you really can imagine what the place is like. Why is one of the items on the menu blurred?

This photo works really well in black and white. Its just a casual shot of everyday life, but its very effective.
I'm glad you kept the right side in. If you cropped it out, you would loose too much of the chairs and garbage can. Looking at this photo makes me want to order a 5 pound burger!
