Photographer’s Note

If anyone of you think that I should have captured fully the person on the right frame I agree... But it was too late... I hesitated a lot before posting this one.. I kind of like it...

I think, I would not be wrong if I say that we have so much choice for many things in life... that sometimes it is hard to choose or we are simply tired of things or trying out... Being nobody looking at them these 'models' are just saying please look at us.. :-)

Hi Balla,
Nice urban shot, great alignment of the "models", yes the person on the right would have been good, but oh well :) Maybe since you have a digital camera you shouldhave taken this one just in case and just stood and waited for someone else to show up.

Bien le bonjour Bala,
Ces mannequins n'attendaient en effet qu'un regard de la part de la femme coupée en deux. Moi j'aime bien qu'on ne puisse pas voir son regard, ça donne quelquechose d'encore plus froid à cette photo. Les rapports sont inversés entre le vivant et l'inanimé, c'est une idée très intéressante. Plus on regarde les mannequins, plus on a l'impression qu'elles semblent implorer le passant de les délivrer de leur triste vie de devanture. Surtout celle de droite.

A funny one! Well, you say that you needed to capture the full face of the woman. But why not cut her out fully. It is not essential. See here, or, for instance, here

I kind of wish there was just a little more of the person to the right in the frame but maybe not - it does work well enough to go well with your excellent title - too much and we might be looking at her rather than your excellent observation of the near human stances of these very non human looking dummies.

Really nice - the kind of thing aI look for a lot in strret photography!
