Dayak tribes from clan of Kenyah has wearing colourfull hat before "mengayau" rituals (mengayau= chop enemy head off). Pic took at the small village, very remote inside Kalimantan jungle, 3 days 2 night by boat. That old man has a chief of his sub clan coming as participant to the ritual.
Mengayau itself has become the centrall ritual over decades among Dayak as a sacred initiation from a boy into real man. Because of modern age, Mengayau has strickly forbiden by Law and nobody did that barerely

You captured a nice shot but watch your neck man! The fact that the man is hidden behind the blured hat, gives a more mystic mood to the pic. I wonder about the black border on the right and top side. Well seen Hantu. Happy Hollidays.
