Kam, you were lucky to catch such a nice day there at Hurricane Ridge. When I have been there, most recently in June of this year, the sky has been overcast, and the snow capped peaks obscurred by the clouds. I think using the visitors center as a focal point and the mountains as a backdrop works very well. Otherwise, it may have just appeared as "another" mountain range picture.
