yes I love the Ardennen. It is nice to be there. The nature, the peache of it, the fantastic country and also the great skies. This I took during my last holidays. I hope you like this late sun photo.

Hi jaap,
tu as su tirer le meilleur de ce petit moment de soleil qui s'est fait une place dans l'espace d'un ciel assez tourmenté.
Cela donne de superbes couleurs, éclatantes et saturées. Beaucoup de soin aussi à la mise au point et au cadrage.

The weather and light sky conditions are like Azores Islands with very nice blues and grey tones. You captured very well and handled this condition. Fine perspective and enquadrement of this valley and beautiful rural landscape. Excelent colors, saturation and sharpness.

Hallo Jaap,
een correcte weerfoto zoals wij het hier gewoon zijn. Zeer scherpe kleurweergave, vooral de weideafsluiting en verwilderde begroeiing op de voorgrond. Mooi wolkendek met volle, donkere regenwolken en een sprankeltje blauw. Het dennenbosje midden van de foto geeft een specale look aan de foto.
Zeer goed geheel

Heel mooi Jaap, wat een scherpte en rijkdom aan details. Het mooie licht op al deze verschillende groen tinten maken deze foto bijzonder. Natuurlijk is hier ook een interessante wolkenlucht aanwezig maar hier trekt het prachtig weergegeven landschap de aandacht. Heel mooi werk.

Si j'avais le talent d'un peintre, je ne compterais plus le nombre de tableaux que m'auraient inspirés vos photographies.
Mais je n'ai pas ce talent, aussi je me contente d'apprécier cette superbe prise de vue. Tout dans la composition me plaît.

Our Belgian friends complain about the bad weather, I see you go for the optimistic side and try to mmake the best use of it, the light on this nice rural landscape is very nice and competes well with the dark menacing sky. I just miss one thing in this photo... a cow !
Another fine image from you, well done Jaap, and I hope you enjoyed your holiday !

But somehow the composition...

Hoi Jaap,
Kwalitatief een van uw mooiste, misschien niet het onderwerp, maar ik heb deze bekeken, ja Jaap met de loupe, maar deze is zeer zuiver, de kleuren en de scherpte zijn ongelooflijk mooi om naar te kijken, daar geniet ik van Jaap. Bedankt voor de tip naar de vlindertuin, ik had deze eens van u gekregen.
Mooi weekend, en nog wat mooie foto's van de aankomende vroege herfst.

Hi Japp, een cehte carper, zowel qua compositie, als natuurlijk weer de lucht. Het hek op de voorgrond is mooi in de foto geplaatst en het fluitekruid, oh heerlijke zomerbloem, is prachtig. Het schuin naar beneden en rechts weplopende donkergroene bosje is prachtig.
Goed gezien.

I must be looking for peaceful views tonight since it appears that is what I'm focusing on here. And yours certainly is a beautiful peace. Green is among my favorite of colors and this green is wonderful. It has that golden hint to it that I like. And along with the excellent sharpness of the image and how we see all the grasses, there is a strong life to what we are seeing. I like how your point of view makes the two clumps of trees seem like rocky islands rising from the sea. And you brought your usual eye for composing photos to this spot, also, and it works very well here. Nice work.

Hi Jaap,
A dramatic landscape, superbly framed. The foreground fence and flowers nicely set off the richly hued field and trees. The other fenceposts in mid-frame neatly divide further and the lighting and threatening sky are most enhancing. Very well seen and captured, Jaap. I like this rural shot very much.
