Photographer’s Note
This is the little used B3212 which goes through the middle of Dartmoor National Park, Devon. Sheep have free roam here and pay little attention to the few cars that pass through, I even saw some asleep at the edge of the tarmac!
Yes, I know the sheep should be walking into the picture, not out of it, but I was too slow....

Hello Andy,
I find your picture interesting, it reminds me some traffic jam in the mountains... :o) I like the composition : it doesn't matter of the sheep is going out of the frame.

Hi Andy,
Hahaha, the title is fantastic. I agree with the others; in this case it isn't really that bad that the sheep is on it's way out of the picture (although it would have been a bit better to capture him a bit more away from the frame). It actually tells a story now; dangerous road, I'm outta here, Sheep on it's way out of the picture. Exposure is good and the frame is perfect (would you mind if I would use it once in a while?). Well done & TFS!
Regards,
Pieter

Hey Andy, nice capture, I think this is better than if the sheep had been walking into shot. I like the way we can see the road coming down through the photo, and the sheep getting out.
I thought that this was a view from the Yorkshire moors at first, but then I saw where it was taken. We have shep roaming free up here too, and they often sleep on the road, I think its because the road heats up nice and warm during the day when the suns on it?
Well done good capture : )

Hello Andy,
Nice capture! I too find it right that wolly guy is on the way out of the picture, the road is a dangerous place to be! Besides your title says it all, I think he wants to join his brothers... . Maybe I'd like him not that close to the frame? Anyway nice work
Regards,
Pablo

Hi Andy,
Great photo and the sheep was captured exactly at the right location/moment, otherwise the title would have been "I'm here to roam the roads" or something similar. Definately an image with a character.
Good job!!
Shelly.

Hi Andy,
great picture with a veeery nice DoF. the focus is on the correct spot :) imho, it would be even better if the sheep would head into the picture and not out of it. but you can't control animals, can you ;)
best regards,
Martin

I do like this shot Andy, capturing a common sight very well. Though personally I don't like these 1/2 frames at all, they look as if the shot has been taken from a video. They almost make the image appear unfinished, as if something is going to happen, another frame.
That being said the image here is still a very nice one, well composed, entitled and coloured, well done.
Please see what you think of my Cornwall & Devon shots.
Have a good day.
