Photographer’s Note
Well not much to tell here. It is another photo from the evening I was looking at the sunset in Kranevo. I decided to take a shot on the waves that were "hitting" the beach. I did a little sharping and shadow/highlights change to give more life to the water. Also added a warming filter so that one can feel the sun setting in our backs :)

ok so i went through your gallery.. i think.. you get a litle overwhelmed by all the beauty around you.. and you want to capture everything that you see and feel is beautiful..
nothing wrong in this.. but it's like.. one of oyur previouc photograph.. you saw a beautiful sky , you were mesmerised by it, and bang you pointed your camera at the sky and clicked it..
see.. what you think is beautiful is because you feel it is beautiful.. your optic nerves are connected to your brain and the visual images affect your emotions.. and you feel good and that is why you realise why what you see is very beautiful..
so while you feel that your image is beautiful, because you also have a memory of the place, we as viewers can't understand that feeling, because we have no such memory that can tickly our emotions and make us feel good..
you need to capture this emotion in your photograph to hand to us viewers on a platter.. only then will we be able to understand the photograph..
this depends on your presentation.. on how you compose.., the subjects , the colours, the tones, and just sooo many more things..
point and shoot photographs stand out and yours are really startk when they come to standing out :)
in the case of this photograph, i'm GUESSING that you wanted to capture the flow of the water.. but for me... it's not an extraordinary photograph.. the water is not reaching my feet and i really want it to.. so the photograph becomes a little frustrating and i'm like "what the heck... let's go over to another photograph"
i'm not good at explaining my thoughts and feelins in words.. there are just too many of them :) , but i'll use a photograph of mine as an example in which even i tried to capture the flow of the water (pardon me for using my own photograph here.. don't mean to sound pompous or anything... i don't do this kind of photography anymore)
here is the photograph
take care :)

hi peter, im going to have to largly agree with sohrab here with this shot, i live right near my local beach and have many shots taken like this but none have filled me with confidence and i feel by looking at it i am not gaining anything,
its just a picture of the sea with a wave, so i try to take the shot from a lower angle, and maybe capture a boat in it, or have something in the foreground for interest, or have a shadow somewhere just to add more interest to it, as i say, i have picture like this, just ones that i havent posted,
i think if you were to get down on your knees and nearly inline with the water and look for something in the sea or on the horizon, or even a rock or a group of stones on the beach to add to the picture it would be greatly improved,
this as it is, i do not find interesting, it would be better with another feature, as i say i live right near a beach so this is common to me, to get it to be something special you need to have something else in the image as i ahve explained,
i hope you understand my ramblings! :)
