Photographer’s Note
This photo has been taken with a ''cheap lens'' and it shows. But this photo illustrate well Fishing on ice in Ste-Rose du Nord. see http://www.fjordsaguenay.com/rte_etape10_1_f.html
Fishing on ice is half a sport half a social activity. Some fish inside the ''cabane'' some outside.

There is something appealing about this image, even though it is unsharp and a bit dirty. The lighting is interesting, the orange and yellow of the two "cabanes" to the front right is quite striking, and you get an idea of the three fishermen exposing themselves to the really cold forces of nature. I also like how there is this solid white background from snow on the frozen lake, and from what appears to be white sky and/or fog.

really appealing image even without the fixes mentioned. like the different size relationships between the small cabins, figures and three wheeler. with the white background they seem to float in a way creating an interesting image. the vinetting in the corners seems to hold the image together some also.

This is still kinda cool. I think it conveys the atmosphere fine! Anyways I tried a workshop just for fun...
