We have here in Latvia not really "tides", but when the wind is strong, still some days later the sea stay very high!

Good composition and I find interesting your note about the "wind-tides".
I would like more light in this picture. I do not know if it is underexposed or it is just that the light was not very much there.

Nice composition, Anne, it makes the benches look really lonely and abandoned! You might consider removing the blue tint from the sky, making it more gray, so the benches make more of a contrast. Very good shot, though. Regards, Ken.

I always liked these chairs, I took so many photo's of them, and most just turn out to be OK.
But I never saw this moment, so thanks for posting it.
good composition, and a beautiful atmosphere of the "small sea" as the Latvians call it.
