Photographer’s Note

It has been taken from the "Isla Del Sol" (Sun Island) in the Titicaca Lake. In the background you could appreciate the Andes with a beautiful dawn.

Sorry if this one has not a good resolution, I took it with an analogic camera (CANON AE1) and the scanner didn´t make a good work. And I also used my sunglasses as a filter ... LOL ...

Pues nada que eres un chico muy creativo, gracias por compartir la historia de esta fotografia. Te sugeriria que la vuelvas a escanear como documento "bmp" (para no perder resolución) y después apliques una correcion a los colores. Keep posting!!!

Hello Alejandro,
I like the story of the picture and your creative idea of using sunglasses as a filter. The result is very pleasant and I am sure that lots of quality has been lost in the scan. However there are some details that can be changed easily like:
- make the horizon straight
- use NeatImage (freeware you can download) to remove the noise
- use the sharpening filter in PhotoShop (or equivalent) to make the details sharper after size reduction
- don't use such a large font for your signature.

I agree with the Martine workshop. Still the shot is great and with the Martine's changes become very pleasant.

haha good thinking of using sunglasses as a filter Alejandro! Did you think of post processing? I was going to try a workshop to get rid of the noise and try to clean the image up a bit but the filesize is too small, there isnt enough detail for me to do much with it.

You should consider saving your jpegs with higher qualities, you cna use 200kb for each photo you post!

This is a great scene though you did well to capture it, I can see through the imperfections : )

Beautiful view.I like the composition and point of view.Very good colors,light and sharpness.I like the contrast between the colors.Good reflections in the water.Well done!
