This picture is taken at the same site as my last sheep picture. Like you can see, the cliffs here where quite beautiful. I am guessing that the terrasse like structures are the result of many sheep walking the same paths over the years.
The quality of the picture could have been better but it is a scan of an old picture I pulled out of my wardrobe, possibly not stored the best way... I cropped, darkened the water and sky and changed the color balance a bit from red to green. |

How do they get up there?
Beautiful landscape. Nice composition with good proportions between sky and rock. Would be nice to have more focus on a particular sheep, but I guess that would take away the incredible landscape and climb they've made. Colors are also good. The reflections on the rocks at the bottom are maybe too sharp.
Wow...I love the rugged richness of this scene which illustrates the amazing adaptability of the sheep on steep terrains such as this. Those diamond-shaped terraces etched by their paths makes the photo all the more appealing. What is that tiny white object on top of the cliff?

This is a great shot Mattias. Don't mind at all that it has been scanned. The structure ir really clear oth onthe rocks and on the grass. Colour balance is also very good. This is a great picture just he way it is.
