Photographer’s Note
Not much to say. Was walking around town, turned the corner, saw the castle, took the picture. Fin.
(As a side note, if one is going to lighten the picture in the workshop, I might suggest using a selection tool to outline only the castle to lighten and not the entire picture.)

Nice composition (tree, sky and castle look great). I know you took the picture in Scottland but still it is a little too dark ;) . I would suggest adding more light.

Very nice composition. The colors are breathtaking. The partial cloud cover adds to the drama of the scene.

Fantastic image full of drama and scale.
Try it in black and white (I did) it looks even better.
Keep them coming.

Beautiful balance between the castle and the tree. Clouds captured nicely too. Only critisism I have is that the photo seems to be a bit dark. Minor changes. Look at the workshop - hope you like it....

Really nice shot, the composition with the tree is really attractive. I agree with the other posts, that it is too dark. I wouldn't adjust the brightness and contrast too much thought, or you loose the detail in the clouds. The nice thing about brightening the shot is that the yellow/orange colors in the castle retain the punch of your main subject, the castle. I would repost this one with the levels adjusted.
