Photographer’s Note
Dettifoss in north-eastern Iceland is quite impressive in size (100 meters wide and 45 meters high), but it's also one of Europes largest waterfall in terms of water flow. With about 200 cubic meters per second it's smaller than the Rhine falls in switzerland, but during floods this easily multiplies.

Lovely shot of an impressive landscape - the BW certainly adds much to the excellent composition. Well done.

Hi Adrian,
Awesome shot! You've definitely captured the intensity and drama in the waterfall. I like the black & white. I brings out the rich details. Very nice!

Adrian -
What a powerfull looking waterfall! It almost makes Niagra Falls look rather tame. The B&W conversion suits the landscape and clouds but when I see a lot of B&W I also wonder what the color image looks like. IMO, I feel there is just a bit too much rock at the bottom of the image - conside cropping a bit - I think about half the rock (up about 0.6-inches) looks like a good crop. Just my opinion.
Well done and thanks for sharing.

Great shot... good contrast and composition. The broken rocks in the foreground really drag the viewers attention into the frame. well done.

Hi, Adrian!
A very nice shot of Dettifoss! From this side you don't get so wet either! From this picture I can feel the power and rawness of this mighty waterfall. I think I almost can hear the roar of it too.. The composition and POV is very good, this way you see both the enourmus amount of water coming and falling. Doing it in B&W works fine also, altough having colors wouldn't be a big difference, since the water and rocks are almost grey..
