The colours of summer Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is actually one of my first pictures with my new digital camera. I was trying the macro function, and found this beautiful flower to practise on. When I saw the final result I was amazed over the quality and colours. This is also a typical swedish, summer-flower, so I thought I could share this with you.

Yes is a very nice photo, but I think you should have find a better (dark) backround.
You have to look behind too!!

I like the vivid colour combination with the blues, the yellows and the greens that frame the lively coloured leaves. Just have another crop suggestion :-) Post a WS for you, just see if you like that frame Frida. It is still your summer-flower, with just another way looking at it.

Very nice photo. It seems that most of the picture is slightly out of focus. Maybe try playing with Depth of Field a bit so that you can see what focus the different apetures will give you.

I love the colors .. the dots of yellow pollen, the bright magenta, the greens and purples.
