I was passing by car at the Copacabana beach when I saw this couple in the other side of the street...

Carlor Drummond de Andrade is a brazilian poet, he used to sit in this bench to see people and write poems, now there's a statue of him at the same bench.

i like it, it is rather a casual scene, but somehow captivating... the poet listening to their coversation.. or maybe his soul...

Nice. Well captured and especially with your notes, very well fitting. It is as if, de Andrade is active in his haunts again. It could use just a little bit of cleaning - like increased contrast to remove the gray pallor.

Well seen and well shot. I´m sorry but you can´t see the funny detail on the thumbnail.

In some small town in Sweden, I don´t remember which, there is also a famous poet sitting on his favorite bench as a statue. That is in the main street but then there is no lovely beach in that town.

I like that, Ricardo. Drummond seems well integrated to the scene. I just would like some sharpness and more brightening. What you think? I have posted a Workshop.

Eu não conheço essa expressão (segurando vela) em português de Portugal. Mas não precisa explicar. Esta foto mostra bem :-)
