Reflexions in a lake near Postonja Photo

Photographer’s Note

This lake in the karst area in slovenië only exist when much rain has fallen. In other periods the water sinks into the chalky bottom. Now, in summer, only some small lakes remained; this is one of them. When there is much water, some places can only be reached by boat. In summer they can be reached by road.

The reflection of the clouds in the water is stunning. There are little blue circles all over the photo. I've seen the same thing happened when I took a photo into the sun. Maybe it is what happened here as well?

Ook weer terug van een goede vakantie hoop ik. Mooie refectie foto, met tegenlicht lasig genoeg. De "zonnetjes" zijn weg te werken, maar de foto is zo prima gelukt. Vooral het water is een mooi gedeelte.

Now here's an interesting composition: note the sky reflected in the water, without showing that cloud formation above. Well done, a lot of tender details here.
