| This butterfly is called Citronfjaril (Lemon Butterfly) in Swedish.In English it is called Brimstone. This is a butterfly you see early in the summer. The male of this butterfly is bright yellow while the female is more pale. Both sexes have a dark spot in the wings. The butterfly is very wide spread. You find it in Europe, North Africa and Asia. However, in Scandinavia it is only found in the southern part. |
