It is an arificial (doll) made to stand on the top of the house to scare away bad eyes that fall on the house and bring bad luck to the people living in the house.
It's a myth that if anyone looks at the house with jelousy, the house and the people living in the house will not prosper.
So before anyone could look at the house with a straight eye he also should be distracted by the ugly looking doll (the big one and the small one at the bottom ).
This is a house in one of the farm houses in between a coconut groove in bangalore in the city outskirts.
I have emphasised on the cicular red water tank and the doll with green a background behind the house.
