Photographer’s Note
Completed in 1859 by Isambard K. Brunel, the Royal Albert Bridge is one of the most recognizable in the world. The two huge lenticular spans were constructed at ground level on the river shore, floated into position and raised. Often described as a combination of truss, arch, and suspension bridges, if you imagine removing the top chords and upper truss work, you're left with a bridge that looks very much like a suspension bridge.
I took this picture last year when i was down near plymouth. Nice little pub just next to where i was stood very nice beer in there too

Good POV for this Mick with the diagonal lines of the bridge leading you through the image. The boats underneath give scale to the photo.

Hey michael, this isnt a bridge Ive seen before I dont think. i didnt think it was a British bridge, strange seeing as though its one of th emost recognisable in the world!
Nice angle you got it from, a well placed pub I say!
