Photographer’s Note

From sunda kelapa harbour .

The night before I went there was rainy so the there were some waters on the street on the side of canal. Since the street was not really clean, the water was quite black, which turned out made great reflection ;) also with the help of CPL.

beautifuuly captured the person is fantastic. The colors of the boat are golden and just gorgoeous. The stones on the pavement are also well rendered and the ligh over all is quite magical.
So very well seen and captured.

One of the nicest reflection I have seen in a while, what colours, man having a smoke is a bonus, it almost seems that he is pulling the boat, great light, colours, composition.

From the thumbnail, I had no idea what this was. Now, I see how brilliant your eye is to catch this! It does indeed look like he is pulling the boat. The detail is pretty good for a reflection-especially the cigarette. Pretty soon, all photographers will be looking at the ground! Impressive photo.

Great reflection this one! Perfect reflections must show some more (the fact that we can know that they are reflections), what is much easier to make when they are not perfect, but here you managed it in another way: the pavement and the mudd over the water. The inclusion of the man smoking adds much more interest to the photo, making it more dynamic. Finally, you also managed good colours, and an interesting boat

heyhey, Karina, i can recognize your shots without looking at the name.
very different from the last postings, but still a great sense of drama, and compo from an original POV. the lone bright color of the boat, added to the sharp lines of the prow, all against the light ink of the nascent night, does wonder to the dynamic in your shot.
One of your best shots, as your creativity was challenged.

Very beautifull shot ! you succeed in capturing all he luminosity an dthe colors in this sharp reflection. We can also see the contratss between the drak sky an dthe colored boat. The ground that we see in the middle of the reflection breaks monotony an dbrings a lot of originality. Well done

This is incredibly beautiful! I love traditional boats and I love reflection, so this picture makes me really jealous! :^)
Colors are great, the boat's reflection is incredible, the presence of the man is great, and I really like the way the pavement comes through the water at some places, to bring reality back into the dream. Congratulations!

Fantastic use of reflection, and quick thinking to see this potential. It is interesting to look at and pulls me into the image. Thw alking man is in focus, boat illumination is good, and street pavestones frame it well. What a great shot! I am smiling...and you should too.

Des reflets on en voit tout le temps et ça a tendance à être ennuyeux mais là c'est vraiment excellent. Il y a toute une scène avec les pavés formant un cadre naturel !

Good shot. I've seen this technique before, taking photographs of reflections in puddles, and must say that I really like them. I got to give it a shot when I get the chance.
