Photographer’s Note

- Corte by Night -
As promised, in particular has dolin, here my first shot with my very last acquisition: SIGMA 28-70 f2.8-4. Yesterday evening, therefore, I leave with friends to make the test, tripod under the arm. pose slow of course, 15s, f:5, 100 Iso, balances white tungstene mode (note the differences between lightings...)

Nice evening shot. Very good work with the light. I love the different shades of colour and the different lights you captured here. Corte is a lovely town. Very well done!

The castle at the top is slightly overexposed I think, but the lower parts of the hill are just right. Overall effect is very pleasing. This is a great place to show density due to the verticality. We can literally see all the buildings there. Great POV.

I like the repetitive patterns of the various village houses. Well managed lighting with plenty of good shadow detail. Tres bon!

OK tres belle image et la lumiere est encore plus belle c'est surtout les details qui sont impressionnant ( en fait je parlais de la lumiere entre le jour et la nuit c'est a dire qu'il fait encore jour mais la nuit tombe ) bref une image incroyablement nétte et une belle vue de Corté by night.

Felicitations pour ton achat, c'est parti pour du low light shooting !
La citadelle est un chouia surexposee, mais le rendu des maisons en dessous est excellent, l'eglise a droite donne une deuxieme point d'accroche lumineux et balance bien la vue. Tu fais ca en tungstene, toi ? Moi je prefere le shade, faut que j'essaie en RAW pour comparer toutes les variations possibles, manque plus que le sujet... Bonifacio ?

Superbe vue de nuit! C'est quoi un SIGMA? (désolée..je n'y connais pas grand chose en matos). En tout cas la photo est super nette et la luminosité un peu violette est chouette!

Hi Loic - very nice night shot, excellent colour and details, though I think I prefer a little darker but thats a personal preference, as most of my photos are too dark for some people, congratulations on your new lens.
