[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taxi stand in Snoul. Packing the people into the taxi is precision work. The people that you see still standing are waiting to be directed to their place, the goods bought in the market are tied to the sides, including the chickens, see workshop.
When this taxi pulled away, the front wheels left the ground, admist roars of laughter, unfortunately my camera was already back in my bag and I was taking my seat in another taxi.

does it really move?

excellent shot)

I can see why it took off when they started - amazing! Pity you didn't capture that moment too but this is excellent - I love the posture and look of the monk!

best wishes Kev

Hi,
this picture is interesting.
Was the car owned by the monks or do they just get the best seats because of their status?

I have posted a workshop where i try to modify the colours a bit and bring out some of the details. Hope you don't mind.
Cheers,

Cedric

I think that taxi drivers from New York city are jeles about this. Too many customers for one cap.

O yes, very typical - forbidden but practiced everywhere.
I like those photos showing so much about the daily live of people in other countries.
The monk is looking so interested - thats perfect. So much live - thanks

This is just incredible keith, just like in africa.. i wonder how those cars can resist such an overweight...i like the way the monk seems to think : "hey guys get down my car"...haha!

I' ve been on that place in Snuol.... that' s really a good catch of what' s going on there... a crossroad between the north, the est and phnom pehn.... you' ll never leave until full... Right on time to capture the moment... with the monk wondering if he gonna make it... all the details are there .... well done...

cela me rappelle mon voyage au Guatemala. Mais là, c'est vraiment halucinant !!!
