I've walked past this building, which appears to be a church, a number of times. One weekend I was carrying my camera to take photos at Bristol's Harbour Festival, and I was struck by the contrast between this building and the environment in which it stands, surrounded by more modern architecture and traffic.
I haven't done any post-processing with this image, because it isn't a strength of mine; so if I was to ask for any particular feedback, it would be on what methods could be used to improve a shot like this. |

This is St Mary on the Quay, completed in 1840 for the Catholic Apostolic Church (Edward Irving), but for most of its history (from 1843) a Roman Catholic place of Worship.
The part of the river where this particular quay was was later covered over, so that it is open to daylight only several hundred yards further downstream.
