Photographers Note
She is the daughter of a rich Muslem family. How I do know it,by looking at the walls of course:-)
As the local guide told me,just the people who had visited Ka'ba are allowed to have their walls painted out with figures and those figures should have been about their pilgrimage story. How they have earned the money necessary for going there,in which ways their transportations were done, where&how they prayed at hajj etc.
This was very strange for me,so I had this pic;and I believe it is just TE style.
I couldn't check it out if the guide were telling the truth but really just some of the houses were like that, and just some holly figures were painted likewise ,not anything else.
I noticed that some had gone there by plane, some by train or bus. That meant some were richer than the others:-)

Hi Nejat.
Good picture. The building and the little girl are really nice elements in the photo. And the composition uses both in the same space.
Well captured.

Selamlar Nejat bey,
Tebrikler, en iyi dilekler..(yesilim yarın)

hi nejat,
a superb shot and thanks for the story, really very interesting.your travelling style is admirable, learning every little tiny details everywhere.
the little girl is the perfect choice for this pic, better than a native woman or a man.wonderful figures at the walls ,so the colours.

I also really like the wall paintings, they are very bright, and combined with the happy girl create a very upbeat and happy composition.

Hello Nejat,
Yes, I remember seeing these painted walls as weel when I was in Egypt and I don't whink that your guide was making up stories. This is really the tradition when people have been to accomplished the Mecca pilgrimage.
A nice colorful shot, with the wall in the background and this little girl in front.
have a nice evening.

Bonjour Nejat,
Amicalement.
