[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Photo taken in the Aswan region. I chose this view for a number of reasons, the first being that line that goes over the mountain like a pencil stroke, and secondly the colours of the sand. I also liked the contrast between the rougher parts of the mountain and the smooth, untouched parts of the sand.

This shot gives a rather good impression of a common Egyptian landscape. Close to the Nile you find vegetation as visible here in the foreground, and then further inland there's just sand and more sand.

Beste Gerd,
Als Egyptisch fan heeft u wel een mooie plaats genomen, ik kan u zeker volgen de lijn laat iets apart zien, en de kleur van het zand is zeer mooi om naar te kijken. Ook al de reflief draden in het zand geven iets speciaals aan de foto.
Jammer dat er zo weinig reactie op is!

Nice shot here Gerd. Very good contrast between the colour of the sand and the blue sky. Excellent shades of light and colours on the dune. The region around Aswan is very charming: I was there once. Next time maybe you can show us a closer image of the buildings in the front. Very well done.
