| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Taken during an office break at the Dalampasigan (Tagalog word for "Beach") Resort. Being a tropical country, you would think it's always summer in the Philippines. But officially these days are marked with the coming of the Catholic Lenten Season which usually falls sometime in March or April. Summer is known as the time for simultaneous festivities all over the country. These celebrations called "fiesta" (a Spanish influence) commemorate significant religious dates associated with Catholic patron saints. These "banderitas" usually strung along or across town streets and buildings are visual cues that some wonderful meals and fun stuff are being prepared or are already happening. And it is a custom for families to open their houses and welcome, entertain and feed even complete strangers. |

Hello Tina,
The blue sky is really beautiful and nicely divided in 3 parts thanks to those flags.
well seen
Luan
Hi Tina,
As Luan still told you, the composition is well done by 3 parts in the blue sky.
I think also the effect of the cloud on the left complete the fly of flags.
Lolo
Great color of sky
And good note

Hi Tina, I very much like simplicity of this picture. The bright sky and the flags just give me this feeling of FREEDOM, which of course is the best thing in the world.
Bright!
Sarah
