Photographer’s Note
There were some pics for this bridge in TE. However, I would like to present this shot which i captured in the morming with the lovely activities of local habitant and tourist people. I hope you like it and give me any comment for my improvement.
Thanks so much. Best Regards
"No one is quite sure of the exact age of this bridge, but it was probably constructed in the early years of the Edo Shogunate (the early 17th century). The covered bridge, also known as the Pagoda Bridge, was built by Japanese craftsmen who were part of a larger community of Japanese merchants active in Hoi-An.
Japanese settled in this town in large numbers following a treaty with local Nguyen lords signed in the early 1600s. Hoi-an at that time was underdeveloped, but the Japanese envisioned transforming the town into a great trading center. The Nguyen Lords allowed the Japanese to construct streets, pagodas, and other infrastructure, along with housing for the merchants. The bridge is one of many such treasures still extant from that era.
The bridge doubles as a temple, with shrines to several deities located inside.
Legend has it that "The bridge was built to kill the "Cu" Dragon. (Vietnamese: Con Cu, Japanese: Mamazu, Chinese: Cau Dragon).
Cu was making earthquakes in Asia, from India (where was its head) to Japan (the queue) through Vietnam (the body). It was supposed to go deep into the earth to reach and kill Cu. It was a success but then people regreted the dragon got killed.
That's why they built a small temple on the bridge (we can't see it on the pic, it's on the other side) to pray for Cu..."

It's a good shot, Mr. Huy.
You've got both: the local people activity, and the historic bridge.
This is "live".
Congratulations!

Bonjour Tran
Image très animée avec ces femmes que tu croises. Les couleurs sont belles et tu as une bonne luminosité.
Le cadrage aurait pu être plus large pour que le personnage de devant soit moins coupé.
(i hope you can understand in french !)
Have a good day.

Hi Huy
A superb daily life shot with excellent color lighting, & okay sharpness. I like the graphism, of the conical hats, against the dark background. Well done!

I recognize this bridge, and I like the way you have composed the image with those women carrying vegetables traditionally. it there wasn't this tourist in the background, we could think this shot was taken many years ago. good light and colors.

How nice to see some people close up in your photo this time, Huy. Good composition that, were it black and white could have been from another period...Best regards, Francis

Hi Huy,
A nice daily life shot, although I'd go for higher DoF this time. On the other hand, it's difficult to use longer exposure when shoting moving people. Well done.
Thanks,
Marek

A with view of antique artictecture. The colour is ncie and I like the procession of the two people carrying things through the gate. I think the oversized foreigner would be better gone. but still a nice picture.

Hi Huy, I am pretty familiar with this way of carrying load like the way showing in this picture. A nice capture of the hard working crew as well as the background well decorated gate for the bridge. A nice capture.

Hello Huy. That is probably the most ornate bridge I've ever seen. I like the way you framed the shot. It' also nice how you included the people hard at work. I'd say sharpness should be increased but that's about it. Nice shot Huy.

This is a very nice motive to photograph. The bridge and the people with their traditional clothes and activities are very appealing. You POV is very good. Not only the diagonal view over the bridge brings dynamic but also capturing people walking and passing by you increase this feeling.
About the framing I think that pointing the camera slightly under to capture a bit more of the man at the right, until the waist, could be a good option. You would loose a bit of the sky but as it is plane blue it doesn’t bring extra details to the image so seeing it just a little is enough. Also it would show the bottom of the entrance in the left part.
A good advice is for you to frame wider than the “perfect” framing. Later, in the pc you can always crop the way you feel better. As your camera has 8mp a small crop won’t reduce the resolution of the image in a significant way so you’re safe in this operation. Until you get more experienced and get the right framing in the first try this is a good trick.
Besides this the colors a good but it also needs a bit more sharpness.

Hi Huy - a nice and authentic scene of daily life, I like the expression on the woman in front. I wish the tourist was not in the frame though, and a lower view with less sky and more of the woman, but still a great shot.
