Angel of the North, Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom
Some people visit the Angel and they see a rusty piece of metal. It's a really amazing structre, especially in its setting - green rolling hills, while the Angel is a beautiful rusty brown.
This was the first picture I took on my first visit there and it turned out to be one of the better ones. |

Nice silhouette, SK... good angle of this picture... good opening shot! Welcome to TE
interesting structure! it is really big! those two people there look so small comparing to it... I like that we see only the sky with cluds and the contour of the rest - good perspective... I wonder how the picture would look like if you turned your camera a bit to the left to have the structure on the right side of the picture...
very good start! Welcome to TE, keep posting and assessing other photos!
It is good that you have figures standing at the base of the Angel to put the sheer magnitude into perspective. The grey clouds across the sky provide another ominous feel and add to the image. I would have cropped a little of the left to improve the lines of the composition. Otherwise it's great, welcome to TE.

Beautiful photo, good angle, the persons below give the perpective to the image. I also suggest to cut a little bit to the left. Bravo!
Belle photo, bon angle, les personnages en bas donnent la perpective à l'image. Je suggère aussi de couper un peu à gauche. Bravo!
Nice "In the shadow" shot... I like it, it is amazing to "see" the 2 person at the feet of the angel... It is a well balanced shot. Well done!
