Photographer’s Note
This is looking southeast from inside Union Station, the main rail station in Chicago. I liked the transition from the cool of the station to the almost overpowering bright, hazy heat of the late spring day outside.
PP: cropped a lot, unsharp mask, increased color sat and decreased brightness a bit.

Hello Matt,
I like the way the light is managed here, 2 differents world. Very nice catch, good perspective view, it a little detail, but I like the red signal in the bottom

Hi Matt, A contemporary way to capture the city. I like the combination of the diagonal lines and the vertical lines shown in this picture. A nice contrast of the dark clear inside and hazy bright outside. The city is well depicted through the hazy environment. I like the inclusion of the red light, which provides a fine decoration.

Hi Matt,
Very well seen, this view of the bridge! The foreground is very good against the hazy circumstances outside, very well done!

Hi Matt,
What a pleasing shot and somewhat unusual. As your note states, there is a great contrast here and the shot well portrays it. Good clarity of detail inside the station and of course the red light provides ideal enhancement. A satisfying capture, learned friend. Regards.

Hi Matt
I like the horizontal use of diverging diagonals. The hazy background, makes for a good contrast, with the sharp foreground. Excellent graphism of dark on light. Well done!

Hi Matt. An excellent photo you made here, with an outstanding framing to juxtapose the geometric details of the rail station with the slightly haze-embedded urban scene outside. Good perspective effect with the diagonals converging towards the right, and I also like how you included the red light at the bottom. Very good, a creative presentation from Chicago.

A bit "industrial look", I like that I lot. I sometimes also try that - but I am better in shooting landscapes and cities.
I like the all the metal elements here, the pipes, the pipes, the rails. I also like the way we can look through the glass here, and that there is brigde right next to this station - that emphasizes the urban look of a big city.

Hi Matt, you succeeded wonderfully in what you aimed for. The contrast is great and very effective - as if another dimension exists beyond the station. Very well exposed and composed job! Regards from Rotterdam, Bert,
