Photographer’s Note
Shutter speed: 1534s -> about 25minutes (which is quite out of trekearth "new photo form" range ;-)
This was taken when I was on the second highest peak of High Tatras - Lomnicky stit (2634 meters above sea level for more info see http://www.vysoketatry.com/ciele/lstit/en.html). Our friend (who work in weather station which is build there) invites me and my friends there so we could spend a wonderful night there. (Normally, a turist go there only for 30minutes and then must go back becouse only way to get there is a cableway).
I like mountains so this was a really great night for me.
The white lines on sky is stars. Becouse of that long shutter speed, the Earth rotates about 8 degrees so it makes it. Star in the center is pole-star which is above north pole so it isnt moves during earth rotation.
My other photos from this wonderful place is there:

Wow! What'd you filter with at f/4.5 to prevent overexposure? How many tries did it take you to get this perfect? Truly magical shot :)

Hi Milan
You just shot the center of universe!
The central point of the sky is the Polar star?
Great photo,
Bravo

Wow nice capture! i wish my camera could do longer than 30s exposures if these are some of the results that can be achieved! Still on digital cameras the batteries would probably run out!
Wel done, good idea well realised!

Très beau.
Avec les derniers rayons du soleil à l'horizon, le rendu est parfait.
Bravo

Wow! Fantastic shot! I like how the long (very long!) exposure makes this type of effect at the sky! Nice work Milan.

Hello Milan, This is wonderfull picture, I like the fact, that within such a long exposure the overexposure of the light sources in the valley is not disturbing. If you don't mind I already copied it into my collection of nice pics. Very well done. Cheers, Michael

excellent picture Milan :)
i like a lot this kind of long exposure with the stars ... here the part of land is perfectly integrated in the picture and provides a lot for the mood ....
