Photographer’s Note
This fishing village on the Atlantic coast of Morocco is highly photogenic. The clear air and bright light really brings out the detail in the medieval town walls and the exposed rock shelf beneath them. I got down quite low for this shot and kept in mind the Rule of Thirds. Contrast and cropping were adjusted in Elements 2.0

Hi Ian
Welcome on TE.
Rule of 1/3 is perfect.
All is perfect.
Perhaps a frame to enhance the photo ?
However, I think that is is not a "village", but Essaouira (formerly Mogador).
This town is one of Marocco's most enjoyable and attactive towns of the coast.

Beautiful photo!
It has that atmosphere of a sea side...
btw, what's a "Rule of Thirds"?

Hi! Ian,
Your composition here is excelent and the gulls make up for the plain sky. There is a lovely diagonal line leading the eye into the scene and keeping it there. Great to see no poles or cables hanging around. Yes! I like this image of Africa (Timeless), me thinks! TFS.
Mike.
