Photographer’s Note
Taken in Pienza, which is a beautiful Tuscan town, in the late afternoon. The photo was originally larger as my wife liked the plants that were around the door. I cropped it down for a better composition which focussed on the contented individual on the steps.

Hello Steve, I love this kind of picture and you succeeded. Very well done and your croping does focus on what is the main subject of the photo.
You could have even add a gaussian blur for a more romantic feel.
Have a great day, Yan

So lovely and full of harmony.
The light is absorbed - no direct sunlight, this brings a peaceful spirit.
The perfect place for the cat for sleeping - and of course for you for making this beautiful photo.
I like it so much.
Thanks and bye

My land lady in Canada was from Tuscany too and had some very beautiful cats ... are the cats very popular over there ? ...

This photo reminds me of a poster you might see in the waiting room of a doctors office or something! Very peaceful! -Laurita

Hallo Steve, the upper and middle part is very good, the lower only a little too dark, but the white sleeping beauty is perfect located. regards Alex

Hi! Steve,
This is my favourite of all your postings and is a very nice composition and use of contrasting colour. My real attraction to it lies in the floral adornment of the painterly brickwork, which seems to sparkle as though it was a frame from a Disney cartoon. A half a degree clockwise rotation would finish it off nicely. But thats just me being picky.
Great shot! Thanks for sharing it.
Mike.

Really nice shot here Steve! The colors of the wall and door are classic Tuscany. I agree that the shot could use a bit of right-rotation. Also, the whiteness of the cat seems to wash out its face a bit, but there's not much to be done about that (next time, spray paint the cat!).
