Here's a sunset in the south of Corsica, precisely in the Handle of Ventilegne, between Porto-Vecchio and Sartène.
Shot taken with a EOS 50 on film Fuji Sensia 100, scanned - what explains the little loss of quality on Canoscan lide.
The color was too beautiful so that I stopped my car...

This shot has been re-posted, I tried to withdraw the defects of the scan.

Un superbe couché de soleil avec un beau reflet.
J'aime bien ton format d'image et ton cadrage avec ces herbes sur l'avant qui donnent un énorme plus à ce coucher de soleil.
Les couleurs sont splendides.

Excellent! The colour is the first thing that attracts me to this - it's very saturated and strong. The other thing that I like is the grass in the foreground, which is in just the right place, close to the sun but enough to the side to not block it. Well done!

Tu fais bien de nous la reproposer, elle est superbement travaillée !
entre PV et Sartene, tu ne te mouilles pas beaucoup; Tu as peur que l'on trouve le coin !!!
Plus sérieusement, j'aime beaucoup le Golfe de Ventilègne, j'y allais chercher des pierres ponces flotées avec mes enfants.
Un coin où j'aimerais être à cet instant.

Magnifique ce couché de soleil.
Les couleurs sont très belles et cet avant plan d’herbe donne du cachet à cette photo.

Je connais le pb de bruit et de nettete que tu rencontres sur des photos scannees.
Cependant tes retouches sont bien faites.
Belle composition avec un sentiment de tranquilite.

Fabulous colours and a good choice of silhouette. I like the shallow DOF making the water and sky slightly blurred and giving the picture a more artistic effect.

With this beautiful capture, I cannot imagine how the photo could be had you took with digital camera and skip the scanning step...

If you have a chance, next time please try digital and let us compare. Until then, this is just too good for me.
