This fine picture remember my two recent posts in a Azores marina. I like very much of this one. Clear photo, excelent enquadrement, contrast and sharpness. Nice management of light conditions. Superb colors and capture of details.

The fact that this was taken in late afternoon makes all the difference- the lighting is so beautiful here! Nice idea to photograph the masts. I have friends living in Utrecht and I never even knew there was a harbour!

Strong uprights and lovely warm colours. You have an eye for drama. Shame about the cropped flag top-left..!

You meant this one, right? Well, you know, apart from the sky colours, there is a big difference with my picture: here you don't see the sea! So, a very similar composition has a completely different effect. I would say this picture resembles me the idea of the Netherlands' towns, where the houses are narrow, the stairs are steep, evereything is tightened. The strong DOF and long-focal effect make it appear that the boats are "compressed" too, one over another.
