Photographer’s Note

I've taken this pic at the backyard of Eyüp Sultan Mosque.They take this age of little boys there before circumsizing operation for a tradition and for prying.Normally the boys wear some special costumes for the ceremony but this family were so poor,couldn't have bought any new clothing just gave permission the boy to play with the pigeons for some minutes.

Funny shot.I like the composition and point of view.I like the expression of the kid.Great colors,light and sharpness.I like the detail of the birds.Well done!

Hello Nejat, I have seen your critique to my photo and really appreciate it. And that was what brought me to your photos. Looking at them I found this one and I quite like it, the movement of the pingeon and the light, but the boy's face is a bit too dark, so i tried to use a bit of photoshop in it, I hope you don't mind. Please have a look. One thing I really like in this photo is the note and the story behind the photo's name.

:))))) So, "braveheart" is safe from hitting with pigeon, but gets circumcised!!!!! :)))) I love the movment in boy's walking position and pigeon flying. The story in the note is also impressing.
