Photographer's Note

This is one of the sculptures made by Pierre Marie Lejeune, exposed on the Promenade des anglais from june,10 to the 15th september.

There are 5 steel sculptures like this one, named Top, Tif, The L, Picto and Targa.
This one looks like a Q but it is not, it is Picto !

By its shape, the artist wanted it to be a playground for children.

According to the artist, these sculptures are here to be useless and useful ( as you can sit on or inside of them ), as "they break and continue the image of the environment that we thought we were controlling."

In the workshop, another view of the same girl, but on the other side. ;)
