Photographer’s Note

...it wasn't morning...there wasn't the sun, the bay was very little and is not the Frisco one, there weren't boats in the water, and i took that image at Marciana Marina, in the small neighborhood of Borgo Cotone (Cotton Village), the man in the picture was a tourist that came out from a restaurant to smoke a cigarette...but...if you don't watch at that SMALL things....

I love this mood, this is certainly for me a reminiscence from a travel in Malta. Of course we are not in there and Italy shown this way is great.
Nice position of the dreamer in the picture and also this detail from the drying stuff at the window, a king of "cliché" in my breton's mind :)))

The solitary figure sets the mood for me. The lights, very kind of monochromatic also add to the feeling of loneliness and solitude.

Ciao Paolo, very good night shot this one, so italian...I love night shots and Italy too, my grandad was born in Leon Forte, Sicily. The frame is not very good, but it is one of your old ones and as I just read in your intro you have learnt about it... I also appreciate the fact that you put a photo of you with your wife in your intro, it is very nice to be proud of your misses and family, good on you!
