Photographer’s Note
I took a snap of a girl. Looking at the LCD, i wondered why the face had a greenish tint. I looked up and I saw the culprit. It was the thin plastic (or canvas?) roof that casted its reflection to my subject's face. So, to bolster my evidence, I took a picture of this rather charming criminal to present as exhibit number 1.
Anyway, the black shapes are dried leaves and the diagonal lines are bamboo strips. Another display of Filipino ingenuity resulting to something peculiarly beautiful. This was still in the artist's store/abode/house.
Auto color, level and contrast and of course, cropping.

Nice photograph, too bad the sun came through just a little too much... I think the lens flare (if that's how it's called) distracts a bit from the nice green and black variations.
I like the abstract thinking though

there are some really interesting parts to this image. like the lines of the tarp and the leaves. the bamboo shadows however over power this image some and the lens flare is a little distracting. interesting shot and subject however

It is always refreshing to see a true to life POV shot. The subject itself is not exciting, but capturing the essence of something ordinary is. Beauty lives everywhere; this is proof.
Great eye!
Cheers,
Michael
