Photographer’s Note
The view from the top of Mt. Beerwah, Queensland.
Not a very creative shot here (taken on my tourist cam), but here's some insight into Aussie macadamia nut farming. The view from above shows the patterns used, but also the extent to which monocultural farming is used in this country - nice, but a little disturbing in my opinion. Are we nuts for nuts?
PP: Brought out colours through saturation, contrasting, reduced lightness and green boost - the tiny camera didn't pick up what my eyes did. Sharpened for JPEG - this photo was really sensitive to compression.

good composition in shapes,
actually too much contrast and too sharp for my tastes...

Nice to see that one, I didn't see that sort of farming during my little trip in Australia last year, just ate Macadamia and I'm glad to see it know. You have made a good photo, with those curves it gives a strange geometric effect. Thanks to share John.

Hi John
Well...this may not be 'creative' as you've said but I find it a lovely pic with great patterns. I like the intersection of roads there but would prefer it to be nearer the centre of the photograph, because I see it as the main 'focus' of the picture. A nice shot overall.
Cheers,
