A family stands infront of their house in a park near the National Assembly. It's not your traditional family portrait.

Nice one. I love this kind of casual composition (guy with his head cut off, my favourite!). The colours are garish and interesting (I guess the yellow light was a streetlight? The pic looks like it was taken around dusk.), with these flat plains of colour that remind me of modern painting. Excellent work!

daring way to compose, that we don't see enough on TE. Most of us would have striven to include the guy's head.
Great richness in the saturation, working well with the subject. The fact that the headless torso is one of the elements getting the most direct light is superb photographic judgement, and there is an imaginary line from his chest going to the mom, whose stare prolounges it (the line) to the kid, unifying the family despite their different positions in the scene.

daring compo, I LOVE it! how could i miss it?
composition is fine, the elements are well distributed that wonderful blue sky above us all.
excellent daring work, Mark, congratulations!

another good one Mark, especially like the topless pregnant woman on the left ;-)
By visiting magnum farily often I had a luxury of looking at many mexican/latino images, feel that this one as well as other images you have already posted are just as high quality.
Love the colours and the overall setting of people around the image, think it tells more than what the eyes can see.

You've really stepped up your game in Nicaragua Mark. I'm very impressed.
This one is well composed and has a natural feel. I like the colours as well. My only nit-pic is the guy to the left, I don't mind the cut off head, but I do feel like I'd like to see a bit more of his torso (up to his shoulders would be good).

Wonderful colours, fantastic composition Mark - in some ways the cut off of the father accentuates the relationship between the mother and the boy but also tells of the sometimes excercised authority of the father - a fascinating image! Brilliant!

Wonderful disposition of the "members" here, Mark - a few things I especially noticed: the big guy's belly is replicated by the Mama in the yellow shirt down the line, and the ptach of perfect blue night sky in the top right hand corner. It's really kind of a perfect shot, you know...Cheers, Francis

Great! (The thing I like most in this is the colours :).

Terrific stuff. Not only is this beautiful to look at with those wonderful colours but it invites so many possible interpretations. The father (?) with the head cropped off hints at absence, possibly even violence. This whole is series is great, well done.

oh yes, excellent

Great photo Mark. I like the deep, rich greens and blues. Cropping the man's head & shoulders also added an interesting touch - one is left to wonder about him. A striking composition.
